Main attractions we will visit:

​

Heroes' Square

​

We start our walk at Budapest’s biggest and mostly visited square, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You will get to know Hungary’s history while we look at the sculptures of important leading historical figures, the Milleneum Monument and you will hear some interesting stories about the square’s history.

City Park (Vajdahunyad Castle, the Zoo, Széchenyi Thermal Bath)

​​

We continue our walk in the biggest park of Budapest, the City park. I will show you a very nice, fairy tale-like castle, one of our famous, historical baths and nice buildings of the Zoo.

​

Andrássy avenue

​​

We walk along the Andrássy avenue, which is also part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will see nice palaces, buildings, the State Opera House and our Pest Broadway. I will tell you stories about the history of the avenue’s construction. We will have a break in a nice historical café which was lately renewed, here we can have a drink and some cake.

Jewish Quarter (Synagogue triangle) 

​​

We will discover the Jewish Quarter with its synagogue triangle, kosher shops, cafés.  We will walk along streets of the former ghetto where you can hear about the history of the Jewish Quarter.

​

Hungarian National Museum 

​​

You will hear about Budapest's history of the last decades and we will visit permanent and temporary exhibitions at the Hungarian National Museum. 

​

Great Market Hall Budapest

​​

Discover the largest and most famous market hall of Budapest – the Great Market Hall in Vámház Street. We can have a break and taste some Hungarian specialities or just have a drink.

​

Gellért Hill, Gellért Thermal Spa

​​

We cross through Szabadság bridge to the Buda site and we stop at the Gellért Thermal Bath. I will tell you some stories about the history of the Thermal Bath and Gellért Hill.

The grand tour will be light continuous walking for up to 8 hours.
